Why Deborah?

Deborah's Faith Coaching was birthed from the strength of the woman mentioned in Judges, Chapter 4.

Deborah was a wise leader, adviser, counselor, and mediator. The Israelites came to her to settle their disputes and seek guidance. She held court under a palm tree.

She was a strong woman who utilized her leadership skills to plan, delegate, and execute tasks. She fulfilled her calling when she accompanied Barak in battle and led the Israelites to victory over the Canaanites. Deborah inspired Barak to achieve his God-given purpose by supporting him, knowing that the struggle would be in his favor.

She demonstrated what a person can accomplish when God is in control. Deborah is a woman of strategy and vision who serves as a model for arriving at one's best potential in time and through God's grace.

"The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God." - Psalm 92:12-13
