Pressing Pause to Be Present: The Teen-Ternity Movement

Parenting doesn’t slow down as teenagers become more independent. We are all familiar with maternity leave, but now there is an emerging concept called Teen-ternity leave. This is where parents step back from work to provide guidance to their teens, offering the structure and support they need during a time when their decision-making skills are still developing.

While this sounds ideal, most parents don't have the luxury of leaving their jobs to provide this type of support. With Deborah’s Faith Coaching, we can partner with you during these vital life transitions by developing a “Game Plan." Using my teen assessment tools, together, we can create and execute a plan for their success.
